Put Video to Use

Posted by on Oct 7, 2008 in Old Blog Posts | 0 comments

If you have video that has already been created for your business – maybe a television commercial or a demostration video of how to use your product – if you haven’t already posted it online, now is a good time to do so.  There is so many options available to get you video online.  YouTube.com is the obvious choice, but many other avenues like Vimeo and BlipTV come to mind.  My advice, put your video everywhere you can – the more distribution channels, the more traffic that can potentially view it.

Most all the video sites allow you to use tags, so make sure to include these.  Tags are keywords that describe your video and can allow your site to pull up in searches that users of these sites make when searching for a video.  Also, most of the online video services allow you to create embed code so you can paste your videos to your own site or blog.

This is just a quick overview for now, but I’ll be covering video in more detail in future blog postings.
