I Wrote a Book For You!

Yep, I wrote a book.  Actually it is an archive of all my blog posts from 2011 bundled together in one easy to read book.  Since most of my blog posts are so long and read more like book chapters, it made sense to put them all together in a book format.

The book covers all my blog posts on the Space Camp Tweetup for the STS-135 mission, the Johnson Space Center NASA Tweetup for the STS-135 mission, the MSL launch, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison “Jack” Schmitt and Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden.  There’s also a handy reference guide to all my related videos and photos that are online.

The book is 186 pages and includes all the photos featured in the blog posts too (in black and white).  The cover picture is a collage of a photo I took of the Space Camp / U.S. Space and Rocket Center Rocket Garden at sunset that merges with a historic NASA photo of Harrison Schmitt on the surface of the moon.

As the author, I can honestly say I have been enjoying reading these stories in this book format over reading them off a computer screen.  Of course, I’m biased, but I think anyone who has an interest in space flight, Space Camp or the various NASA Tweetups will enjoy reading this book.

In honor of the next Space Camp Tweetup that is happening in January 2012, I will be donating $1 from every book sale from now through the end of January to the Space Camp Scholarship Fund.

Here is my video overview of the book:

The folks at Lulu.com did a great job in publishing a book that is top quality.  I’m thrilled to be able to offer this book to you – after all I wrote it for you!

If you enjoy the book, please give me a review on Lulu.com.  It is my goal to continue to develop as a writer and to consistently bring you new material that I hope you will enjoy.

You should create a Kindle version for Amazon, we sell a version of ours there, its a nice little revenue stream.
